What is the OSA?
ONE STORY AWARD (OSA) was created in 2022 with the motto “Shin-Shin-Bi-Zai” (mental and physical beauty) to expand learning opportunities from Japan to the world for language and cultural exchange and to create a place where everyone, regardless of age or environment, can challenge themselves and continue to learn and grow.
About the Contest
We are looking for people who be interested in Japan, level up career and are able to action for better community & world.
Participants in Speech Division will be give a speech about " Beauty & Peace".
Requirement: Students (regardless of age)
Prize
The grand prize winner will be invited to the next ONE STORY AWARD being held in Japan (It is scheduled to February 2025).
In particular,
Flight tickets from New York to Japan
(round-trip ticket)
PLEASE NOTE!
☑ Provided that you participate in the next ONE STORY AWARD being held in Japan.
(It is scheduled to February 2025).
☑Not included other expenses except for above the round-trip ticket.
(ex. hotel fee, travel insurance, private sightseeing expenses etc.)

Process
Application / First Screening
Application period：
April 2, 2024- May 16, 2024
Requirement: Students (regardless of age)
Please fill out and send the following application form.

Announcement of First Screening results
After application screening, successful applicants will be contacted by email by May 18, 2024.
Please note that if after entering you are not contacted by the secretariat by May 18, unfortunately, your application was not accepted.
*Please email us a summary of your speech at a later date.

Final Contest
Date: May 23rd, 2024
Location: Scandinavia House
(58 Park Ave, New York, NY 10016)
Time: 6:30PM-9PM
If you have been selected as a finalist for the Speech division, please give a speech to the contest judges and audience.
Participants in Speech Division will be give a speech about " Beauty ＆Peace".
